I recently encountered an AVG problem, this error message keeps popping up every few minutes:

Avgcmgr.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. we are sorry for the inconvenience. Please send Microsoft the error report about this problem. I send the error report to Microsoft, but Microsoft did nothing.

I have searched everywhere but nothing could help to fix this avgcmgr.exe error, please help me.

Avgcmgr.exe is a component of AVG Internet Security, this product was developed by AVG Technologies CZ, s.r.o. the installed directory of Avgcmgr.exe is:

C:\PROGRAMFILES\AVG\AVG2012\avgcmgr.exe

This avgcmgr.exe error looks like the problem might be with the AVG Internet security old version.

We would recommend you to uninstall AVG Internet security application and run wise pc doctor to fix the damaged exe files and dll files, and then download the latest version of AVG Internet Security and install it.

The AVG un-installer tool (http://www.avg.com/us-en/utilities) can help you to uninstall AVG software completely.

 

Run Wise PC Doctor to fix avgcmgr.exe error:

1. Download Wise PC Doctor with this download link

2. Install Wise PC Doctor.

3. Click "One-Click Fix", do a complete scan for your computer.

4. Click “Repair All” then fix all detected problems.
